A severe fire in Bukavu, a city situated in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, has resulted in the deaths of at least 24 children.
The destructive blaze swept through two local schools and destroyed hundreds of adjacent buildings, leaving students trapped inside as the flames spread across the neighborhood.
